A little weekend adventure only an hour and a half from Bristol, here are some pictures of roaming around the stunning Exmoor and the isolated little village of Porlock.
Venturing to a lesser known spot for me on the Cornish coast - the Roseland Peninsula. Think the smell of coal fires, the distant roar of the Atlantic and the warm glow of friendly and welcoming pubs in the likes of Portloe and Portscatho.
The other weekend, we took a jaunt up Table Mountain in the beautiful Brecons. It's a beautiful and enchanting climb up to wonderful Welsh views - and is a relatively easy opportunity to look below at the towns, villages, crooks and crannies of this stunning part of the UK.
For walks from Crickhowell to Table Mountain, the Brecon Beacons National Park website has a good route, however it's not hard to go wrong from the village of Llanbedr.
