In early March, I visited the beautiful environs of Hay-On-Wye for the Year of Discovery campaign.
The amazing area around Hay is perfectly suited to a weekend break and we made the most out of our time in the area, canoeing, hiking up Hay Bluff, exploring the area’s wonderful history and getting lost in the bookshops that have gone some way to putting this place on the map.
You can read Sian’s blog post about the trip, as well as find links to all the places in the photo shoot here: http://thegirloutdoors.co.uk/2019/04/01/weekend-guide-to-hay-on-wye-in-wales/

Venturing to a lesser known spot for me on the Cornish coast - the Roseland Peninsula. Think the smell of coal fires, the distant roar of the Atlantic and the warm glow of friendly and welcoming pubs in the likes of Portloe and Portscatho.
Exploring Kingswear and Dartmouth in South Devon. Beautiful springtime, rural calm.
We recently ventured with Kamper Hire to rent out a California Ocean T6. The brand new California from VW is classic German efficiency and quality - with acres of space and intelligent ways to make your life easier.
Godrevy and Gwithian were perfect for the weekend - a light breeze, stunning mornings and perfect sea conditions. With the clocks going forward the weekend we were there, it was a great way to welcome in spring.
